| Welcome to The Kings The Kings is Cardiff's favourite gay bar, open seven nights a week, bringing a fresh alternative to other bars on the Cardiff gay scene. On a Wednesday, Friday & Saturday we're a pre-bar to Pulse but on other nights we come into our own with live entertainment. About Us Formerly known as 4Play, we have been open for two years. Following the closure of the historic Kings Cross pub this Summer, we had a need to adapt to the void left on our scene, with extended trading hours and additional nights of entertainment. Key to these changes is a new look and new identity for the venue. Our name is a nod to our gay scene's proud heritage whilst looking forward to an exciting future.
